Regular Season Round 5: Dreamers - Lioneers 82-81

The most exciting game of round 5 in the TPBL ended with only one-point defeat of 7th rankedLioneers (2-2) to fifth ranked Dreamers (3-4) 82-81 on Wednesday evening. American forward Trey Thompkins (208-1990, college: Georgia, agency: Octagon Europe) saved the victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds. His fellow American import power forward Aric Holman (208-1997, college: MSU) contributed with 18 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Five Dreamers players scored in double figures. American power forward Drew Pember (211-2000, college: UNC Asheville) answered with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 18 rebounds and Latvian center Anzejs Pasecniks (216-1995, college: VEF BA Valka) added 17 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Lioneers. Lioneers' coach Wesam Al-Sous tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Dreamers moved-up to third place, which they share with Kings. Lioneers at the other side dropped to the fifth position with two games lost. They share it with Taipei TM.
