Regular Season Round 1: Kings - Dreamers 112-93

The biggest surprise of round 1 in TPBL took place when Kings crushed Dreamers 112-93 on Sunday evening. Kings dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Dreamers' 42. Kings forced 26 Dreamers turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. American forward Jayden Gardner (201-2000, college: Virginia, agency: MSG) fired 25 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. chipped in 15 points and 6 assists (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Four Kings players scored in double figures. American power forward Aric Holman (208-1997, college: MSU) produced a double-double by scoring 32 points and 16 rebounds and international center Brandon Gilbeck (213-1996, college: W.Illinois) added 11 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Dreamers will play next round against Taiwan Beer L. trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Kings will try to continue on its current victory against Taipei TM. It will be extra interesting game as Taipei TM is their local rival from Taipei.
