Regular Season Round 24: Dreamers - Lioneers 99-89

There was no surprise when 7th ranked Lioneers (10-24) were defeated by second ranked Dreamers (20-13) 99-89 on Saturday. Dreamers made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The game was dominated by American players. Worth to mention a great performance of Beau Beech (203-1994, college: UNF) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 16 rebounds and power forward Aric Holman (208-1997, college: MSU) who added 14 points and 15 rebounds during the contest. Dreamers' coach Jamie Pearlman used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was forward Kennedy Meeks (208-1995, college: UNC, agency: Diamond Sports) with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 19 rebounds and guard Landers Nolley II (201-2000, college: Cincinnati) scored 20 points and 5 rebounds. Five Dreamers and four Lioneers players scored in double figures. Dreamers have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 20-13 record having six points less than leader Kings. Lioneers lost fourth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 24 games lost. Dreamers will again meet bottom-ranked Lioneers (#7) in the next round where they are favorite. Lioneers will play against Kaohsiung A. and hope to secure a win.
