Fourth-rankedTaipower (0-24) was very close to win a game against third ranked Chunghwa Telecom (8-16). Chunghwa Telecom managed to secure only three-point victory 63-60 . However their fans expected easier game. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Jia-Xuan Zhang (178) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 9 rebounds and guard Yu-Ling Liang (155) who added 16 points and 5 assists during the contest. Chunghwa Telecom's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Qin-Yu Huang responded with 23 points and 6 steals and the former international Yi-Wen Zhang (173-1996) scored 7 points and 11 rebounds. Chunghua T. maintains third position with 8-16 record having thirteen points less than leader Taiyuan T. Taipower at the other side still closes the standings.
