There was a minor upset when top-rankedYulon Luxgen (18-12) was defeated by third ranked Bank of Taiwan (14-16) 83-78 on Sunday. Bank of Taiwan outrebounded Yulon Luxgen 49-38 including 19 on the offensive glass. Bank of Taiwan looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Guard Chia-Wei Chien (188-1998) fired 23 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals for the winners. Guard Jhe-Ting Lin (183-1999) chipped in 10 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Forward Yi-Han Tu (193-2000) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Cheng-Han Yang (186-1999) added 13 points respectively for lost side. Four Yulon Luxgen players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Bank of Taiwan maintains third position with 14-16 record having four points less than leader Yulon Luxgen. Yulon Luxgen lost third consecutive game. Defending champion still keeps top place with 12 games lost.
