Very significant wasTaiwan Beer 's (#2, 16-14) victory against top-ranked Yulon Luxgen (18-12) 79-62 . It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. Taiwan Beer looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The former international forward Hsiao-Jung Chen (181-1990) fired 14 points for the winners. Gambian forward Joof Alasan (205-2002) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds. Four Taiwan Beer players scored in double figures. Guard Kuo-Lun Pu (195-2001) produced 13 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals and the former international point guard Ming-Yi Lin (178-1996) added 10 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Taiwan Beer (16-14) have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain second position having just two points less than leader Yulon Luxgen. Yulon Luxgen lost third consecutive game. Defending champion still keeps top place with 12 games lost.
