An interesting game forFubon Braves (15-9) which played against 4th placed Steelers (2-22). Second ranked Fubon Braves had an easy win 101-83 . Fubon Braves dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Steelers ' 22. They outrebounded Steelers 67-47 including a 51-32 advantage in defensive rebounds. Fubon Braves players were unselfish on offense dishing 36 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by Steelers ' players. They brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. Steelers were plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. American center Jeff Withey (213-1990, college: Kansas) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds for the winners and the former international Chen-Ya Chang (196-1999) chipped in 18 points and 9 rebounds. Four Fubon Braves players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American point guard Isaiah Briscoe (190-1996, college: Kentucky) with a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!), 15 rebounds and 8 assists and the other American import forward Isaiah Todd (206-2001, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 13 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Fubon Braves have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain second place with 15-9 record having just three points less than leader Pilots. Steelers lost fourth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 22 lost games.
