Regular Season Round 18: Fubon Braves - Tainan GH 103-94

An interesting game for Fubon Braves (12-9) which played against their close opponent GhostHawks (12-11). Third ranked Fubon Braves managed to get a 9-point victory 103-94. Fubon Braves shot 31 for 42 from the free-throw line, while Tainan only scored fifteen points from the stripe. Fubon Braves had a 39-26 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. 31 personal fouls committed by Tainan helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American players dominated the game. It was a good game for center Jeff Withey (213-1990, college: Kansas) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 24 rebounds and 5 assists. Center Brandon Walters (208-1995, college: MTSU) contributed with 16 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Power forward Nick Perkins (203-1996, college: Buffalo) replied with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds and guard Branden Frazier (191-1992, college: Fordham) added 24 points in the effort for Tainan. Five Fubon Braves and four Tainan players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Fubon Braves maintains third position with 12-9 record having five points less than leader Pilots. Tainan at the other side dropped to the second place with 11 games lost. Fubon Braves are looking forward to face league's leader Pilots in Taoyuan in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Tainan will have a break next round.

A champion is someone who has achieved the highest level of success in a competition or event. They have demonstrated exceptional skill, determination, and talent, allowing them to emerge victorious over all other competitors. The champion is celebrated for their accomplishment and is often seen as a role model in their field. A finalist, on the other hand, is someone who has reached the last stage of a competition but ultimately did not emerge as the champion. Despite not winning the ultimate prize, a finalist should still be proud of their achievement in making it to the final round. Being a finalist signifies a high level of skill and dedication, and is an impressive accomplishment in itself.
