The game between closely ranked teams ended with third rankedChunghwa Telecom 's (6-12) victory over bottom-ranked Taipower (0-18) 65-46 on Monday. The best player for the winners was the former international power forward Hsiang-Ting Huang (180-1993) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international guard Szu-Chin Pan (170-1992) chipped in 16 points and 4 assists. Chunghwa Telecom's coach used entire bench and allowed the starting five to get some rest. At the other side the best for losing team was Qin-Yu Huang who recorded 7 points and 10 rebounds and the former international Yi-Wen Zhang (173-1996) added 11 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Chunghua T. maintains third position with 6-12 record having eleven points less than leader Taiyuan T. Loser Taipower still closes the standings.
