Regular Season Round 5: Taipower - Chunghua T. 42-65

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 4th placed Taipower's (0-15) loss to third ranked Chunghwa Telecom (5-10) 42-65 on Sunday. Guard Shi-Zan Xu (164) nailed 13 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side and the former international power forward Hsiang-Ting Huang (180-1993) accounted for 14 points and 5 rebounds. Four Chunghwa Telecom players scored in double figures. The former international Yi-Wen Zhang (173-1996) came up with 16 points and 7 rebounds and Qin-Yu Huang added 9 points and 11 rebounds respectively for Taipower in the defeat. Chunghua T. maintains third place with 5-10 record having nine points less than leader Taiyuan T. Taipower lost their fifteenth game in a row. They still close the standings with 15 games lost. Chunghua T. will meet league's leader Taiyuan T. in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Taipower will play against Chunghua T. and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
