No shocking result in a game when first rankedTaiyuan Textile (14-1) beat 3rd placed Chunghwa Telecom (5-10) 61-45 on Saturday. German center Marie Guelich (194-1994, college: Oregon St.) nailed a double-double by scoring 12 points and 14 rebounds for the winning side and Wei-Qing Liao accounted for 12 points. Yatong Chen came up with 9 points and 5 rebounds and the former international guard Szu-Chin Pan (170-1992) added 5 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Chunghua T. in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. The victory was the eleventh consecutive win for Taiyuan Textile . Taiyuan T. maintains first place with 14-1 record. Loser Chunghwa Telecom keeps the third position with ten games lost.
