We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when seventh rankedLioneers (8-17) beat 6th ranked Leopards (9-13) 94-77 on Wednesday. Lioneers forced 23 Taiwan Beer L. turnovers. Strangely Taiwan Beer L. outrebounded Lioneers 52-36 including a 37-26 advantage in defensive rebounds. Lioneers looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The winners were led by American Earl Clark (208-1988, college: Louisville) who scored that evening 28 points and 8 rebounds and the other American import guard Landers Nolley II (201-2000, college: Cincinnati) supported him with 20 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Even a double-double of 21 points, 14 rebounds and 8 assists by American-Liberian Lasan Kromah (198-1991, college: UConn, agency: LHZ Sport Agency) did not help to save the game for Taiwan Beer L. . American center Devin Williams (206-1994, college: WVU) added 24 points and 15 rebounds for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Lioneers maintains seventh position with 8-17 record. Taiwan Beer L. lost third consecutive game. Defending champion keeps the sixth place with 13 games lost.
