Fourth-rankedBank of Taiwan (3-9) gave a tough game to third ranked Taiwan Beer (7-5) in Taipei. Taiwan Beer managed to secure only one-point victory 84-83 . However their fans expected easier game. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Bank of Taiwan. Bank of Taiwan was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The winners were led by American forward Christian Anigwe (206, college: UC Davis) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 21 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Zong-Lin Lu (175-1994) supported him with 7 points, 7 rebounds and 11 assists. Lu is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Taiwan Beer players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 19 points and 13 rebounds by American center Tevin Glass (203-1994, college: ETSU) did not help to save the game for Bank of Taiwan . Guard Chia-Wei Chien (188-1998) added 22 points for lost side. Bank of Taiwan's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Taiwan Beer keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Yulon Luxgen and Changhua. Bank of Taiwan at the other side stay at the bottom place with nine games lost.
