The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-rankedPilots (13-4) against second ranked GhostHawks on Sunday night. GhostHawks were defeated by second ranked GhostHawks (9-6) 101-94 . It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Pilots. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. They outrebounded Pilots 51-39 including 38 on the defensive glass. 24 personal fouls committed by Pilots helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for American power forward Nick Perkins (203-1996, college: Buffalo) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 12 rebounds. The other American import guard Branden Frazier (191-1992, college: Fordham) contributed with 26 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists (went 10 for 10 at the free throw line !!!) for the winners. Four GhostHawks players scored in double figures. American center Alec Brown (216-1992, college: Green Bay) replied with a double-double by scoring 28 points, 14 rebounds and 7 blocks and Hungarian-American power forward Jarrod Jones (206-1990, college: Ball St.) added 26 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Pilots. Tainan maintains second position with 9-6 record having six points less than leader Pilots. Pilots at the other side still keep top place with four games lost.
