Regular Season Round 13: Taiwan Beer L. - Dreamers 96-93

Important game to mention about was the one when fifth ranked Leopards (8-9) saved a 3-point victory edging much higher ranked Dreamers (12-8) 96-93 on Sunday evening. Taiwan Beer L. made 16-of-21 charity shots (76.2 percent) during the game. They also forced 21 Dreamers turnovers. Taiwan Beer L. players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Dreamers were plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. American-Liberian Lasan Kromah (198-1991, college: UConn, agency: LHZ Sport Agency) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 11 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and American center Robert Upshaw (213-1994, college: Washington) chipped in 20 points and 21 rebounds. At the losing side international forward Chien-Hao Ma (201-2001, college: Georgia St.) responded with 23 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international center Brandon Gilbeck (213-1996, college: W.Illinois) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds. Five Taiwan Beer L. and four Dreamers players scored in double figures. Dreamers' coach Jamie Pearlman rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Defending champion maintains fifth place with 8-9 record. Dreamers lost third consecutive game. They keep the second position with eight games lost. Taiwan Beer L. will play against N.Taipei CTBC (#6) at home in the next round. Dreamers will have a break next round.
