Regular Season Round 11: Pilots - Tainan GH 100-89

An exciting game was when First ranked Pilots faced second-ranked GhostHawks. Pilots (13-3) defeated GhostHawks (7-6) 100-89. Pilots forced 20 Tainan turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Pilots made 8 blocks. 34 personal fouls committed by Tainan helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was guard Treveon Graham (198-1993, college: VCU) who scored 23 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Forward Julian Boyd (203-1990, college: LIU Brooklyn) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds. Power forward Nick Perkins (203-1996, college: Buffalo) produced 21 points and 7 rebounds and guard Branden Frazier (191-1992, college: Fordham) added 15 points respectively for Pilots. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Pilots have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place with 13-3 record. Tainan at the other side keeps the second position with six games lost. Pilots are looking forward to face league's second-placed Tainan on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Tainan will play against Steelers and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
