The game between closely ranked teams ended withChanghua 's loss to Taiwan Beer 84-88 on Saturday. Taiwan Beer made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 Changhua turnovers. American center Tevin Glass (203-1994, college: ETSU) had a double-double by scoring 32 points and 15 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Hsin-Wei Wang (183-1997) chipped in 20 points during the contest. American power forward John Fields (205-1988, college: Tennessee) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 15 rebounds and guard Chien-Chih Huang (189-1998) scored 17 points and 8 rebounds. Five Changhua players scored in double figures. Changhua's coach Chun-Hsiung Wu tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players in this game, but that didn't help.
