Regular Season Round 11: Taipei TM - Taiwan Beer L. 97-85

Rather expected game when 6th ranked Leopards (6-9) were defeated by fourth ranked Taipei TM (8-7) 97-85. Taipei TM dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Leopards's 28. Taipei TM brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Malcolm Miller (201-1993, college: Holy Cross) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks. His fellow American import center Thomas Robinson (203-1991, college: Kansas) accounted for 19 points and 15 rebounds for the winning side. American-Liberian Lasan Kromah (198-1991, college: UConn, agency: LHZ Sport Agency) came up with 18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and international swingman Sin-Kuan Lin (193-2002) added 21 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Taiwan Beer L. in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Taipei TM have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to third place. Defending champion Taiwan Beer L. keeps the sixth position with nine games lost. Taipei TM will play against bottom-ranked Lioneers (#7) in Hsinchu in the next round. Taiwan Beer L. will have a break next round.
