The game between closely ranked teams ended with sixth ranked Leopards' (5-7) victory over bottom-ranked Lioneers (3-9) 106-102 on Sunday. Taiwan Beer L. outrebounded Lioneers 54-41 including a 18-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Taiwan Beer L. looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American-Liberian Lasan Kromah (198-1991, college: UConn, agency: LHZ Sport Agency) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 29 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners and the former international point guard Jin-Wei Gao (175-2000) chipped in 25 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. The best for the losing side was the former international point guard Kuo-Hao Kao (179-1998, college: SEMO) with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists and American-Jordanian Dar Tucker (193-1988, college: DePaul) scored 14 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Lioneers' coach Milan Mitrovic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Defending champion moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Taipei TM. Loser Lioneers stay at the bottom position with nine games lost. Taiwan Beer L. will meet league's leader Dreamers in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Lioneers will play against N.Taipei CTBC (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
