A very close game was the one between Kings and Aquas. First ranked Kings (9-3) got a very close victory over 3rd placed Aquas (7-6). Kings managed to escape with a 3-point win 111-108 in the game for the second place. Kings forced 19 Kaohsiung A. turnovers. American-Bulgarian center Jason Washburn (213-1990, college: Utah, agency: Pensack Sports) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 16 rebounds for the winners and American Austin Daye (209-1988, college: Gonzaga, agency: Slash Sports) chipped in 20 points and 11 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Lithuanian Edgaras Zelionis (207-1989, agency: Octagon Europe) with a double-double by scoring 30 points, 18 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Huai-An Chen (186-1997) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points, 5 rebounds and 14 assists. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Kings have an impressive series of six victories in a row. Despite that victory Kings went down to second position due to points difference. Loser Aquas keeps the third place with six games lost. Kings will meet bottom-ranked Lioneers (#7) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Kaohsiung A. will play against Taipei TM (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
