An interesting game took place in Taoyuan where fifth ranked N.Taipei CTBC (4-4) edged by one point their close opponent Taiwan Beer L. (3-5) 87-86 on Saturday night. Croatian center Kristijan Krajina (208-1990, college: Mt.St.Mary's, agency: 011 Sports) had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 14 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Georgian-American point guard Conner Frankamp (185-1995, college: Wichita St., agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 18 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Five N.Taipei CTBC players scored in double figures. N.Taipei CTBC's coach Momir Ratkovic used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was American center Devin Williams (206-1994, college: WVU) with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 23 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and the former international point guard Jin-Wei Gao (175-2000) scored 24 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. N.Taipei CTBC moved-up to fourth place. Defending champion Taiwan Beer L. dropped to the sixth position with five games lost.
