Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both fifth rankedLeopards and 7th ranked Lioneers had identical 2-5 record. This time Leopards crushed the opponent Hsinchu 112-89 on Wednesday night. Taiwan Beer L. forced 28 Lioneers turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. American-Liberian Lasan Kromah (198-1991, college: UConn, agency: LHZ Sport Agency) scored 34 points (!!!), 9 rebounds, 7 assists and 9 steals to lead the charge for the winners and American center Devin Williams (206-1994, college: WVU) chipped in 20 points and 11 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) during the contest. Four Leopards players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American Earl Clark (208-1988, college: Louisville) with 21 points and 4 steals and guard Kuan-Hsuan Lu (182-1995) scored 14 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Despite that victory Taiwan Beer L. went down to sixth position due to points difference. Lioneers lost fourth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with six games lost.
