Another interesting game was again a derby between two teams from Doha:Al Arabi (#2) and Al Ahli D. (#6). Al Ahli D. was defeated at home 78-85 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Bahrain point guard Mustafa Ali (177-2002) notched 24 points and 8 assists to lead the effort and Elmedin Kikanovic supported him with 19 points and 9 rebounds. Even 18 points and 8 rebounds by guard Malik Curry (185-1999, college: WVU) did not help to save the game for Al Ahli . American power forward Raekwon Rogers (203-1999, college: Wagner, agency: One Motive Sports) added 15 points and 7 rebounds. Four Al Ahli players scored in double figures. Al Arabi (5-0) have an impressive five-game winning streak. Defending champion (5-0) keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Al Rayyan. Al Ahli at the other side keeps the sixth place with four games lost.
