There was no surprise in Doha where bottom-rankedQatar Club (0-4) was crushed by top-ranked Al Arabi (3-0) 121-91 on Saturday. Al Arabi dominated down low during the game scoring 78 of its points in the paint compared to Qatar Club 's 40. They outrebounded Qatar Club 47-27 including a 29-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Al Arabi looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Tyree Corbett (201-2000, college: Denver, agency: Allstars Agency) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds and the other American import guard Sindou Diallo (194-2000, college: Montana Tech) who added 24 points during the contest. Al Arabi's coach Hatem Mamlouk felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American guard Rashad Williams (188-2000, college: UAPB) responded with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 12 rebounds and American-Jamaican guard Josh Nicholas (190-1998, college: ULM, agency: Allstars Agency) scored 22 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Al Arabi and four Qatar Club players scored in double figures. Al Arabi have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Al Rayyan. Loser Qatar Club still closes the standings with four games lost.
