Another exciting game was again a derby between two teams from Doha:Al Sadd (#2) and Al Ahli D. (#3). Al Ahli D. was crushed at home by 22 points 86-108 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Al Ahli D.. Al Sadd made 23-of-25 charity shots (92.0 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Al Ahli 45-31 including a 36-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Al Sadd players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. The game was dominated by American players. Swingman Skyler Flatten (198-1995, college: S.Dakota St., agency: Slash Sports) orchestrated the victory by scoring 43 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Grant Dressler (201-1997, college: Chaminade) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 8 rebounds and 11 assists for the winners. Point guard Armin Cane (188-1993, college: Stockton) answered with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 6 rebounds, 11 assists and 5 steals and power forward Raekwon Rogers (203-1999, college: Wagner, agency: One Motive Sports) added 18 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Al Ahli. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Al Ahli D.'s coach Angelos Tsiklititras gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Al Sadd have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain second place with 8-2 record behind leader Al Rayyan. Al Ahli at the other side dropped to the fourth position with four games lost.
