Regular Season Round 2: Al Sadd - Al Ahli D. 87-78

The biggest surprise of round 2 in QBL took place in Doha where host Al Sadd beat Al Ahli 87-78 on Saturday evening. The best player for the winners was international forward Babacar Dieng (196-1997) who scored 23 points. American Grant Dressler (201-1997, college: Chaminade) chipped in 14 points and 9 assists. American power forward Raekwon Rogers (203-1999, college: Wagner, agency: One Motive Sports) produced 24 points and 6 rebounds and international forward Mohammed Abbasher (198-2004) added 17 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests. Five Al Sadd and four Al Ahli players scored in double figures. Al Ahli will play next round against Al Wakrah trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Al Sadd will try to continue on its current victory against Al Khor on the road.
