Regular Season Round 17: NLEX RW - Titan UGR 123-112

PBA top team - Warriors (10-2) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat eleventh ranked Risers (2-9) in Makati City 123-112. NLEX RW shot 31 for 42 from the free-throw line, while Titan UGR only scored nine points from the stripe. NLEX RW players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. They brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. Titan UGR was plagued by 32 personal fouls down the stretch. Haitian center Cady Lalanne (208-1992, college: UMass) nailed a double-double by scoring 29 points and 20 rebounds for the winning side and guard Robert Bolick (185-1995) accounted for 25 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. Belgian-American forward Michael Gilmore (208-1995, college: VCU, agency: BIG) came up with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 18 rebounds and 5 assists and naturalized American guard Joshua Munzon (191-1995, college: CS Los Angeles) added 19 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists respectively for Titan UGR in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Warriors have a solid series of four victories in a row. NLEX RW maintains first place with 10-2 record. Titan UGR lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom position with nine games lost. They share it with Blackwater and Macau. NLEX RW's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Makati City to the arena .
