UndefeatedPainters (7-1) recorded its first loss in Manila on Tuesday night. Hosts were defeated by sixth ranked Masters (5-3) 87-83 . It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Painters. Phoenix looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was American power forward James Dickey III (208-1996, college: UNCG, agency: JCK Sports Group) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 19 rebounds. Guard Tyler Tio (183-1998) chipped in 16 points and 5 assists. Five Masters players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American center Jaylen Johnson (206-1996, college: Louisville, agency: Octagon Europe) who recorded a double-double by scoring 12 points, 19 rebounds and 7 assists and guard Adrian Nocum (183-1999) added 20 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Phoenix maintains sixth position with 5-3 record. Rain or Shine at the other side still keeps top place with one game lost.
