Very important is a home loss of second rankedTNT Tropang (6-3) against fourth ranked Beermen (6-2) on Friday night. Host TNT Tropang was defeated by Beermen in Makati 110-95 . It was a key game for the second position in the league. Worth to mention a great performance of Jaymar Perez who helped to win the game recording 33 points (!!!). June Mar Fajardo contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 17 rebounds for the winners. Five Beermen players scored in double figures. Naturalized Australian guard Jordan Heading (188-1996, college: CBU) replied with 18 points and Calvin-John Oftana added 16 points in the effort for TNT Tropang. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Beermen have an impressive six-game winning streak. SM Beermen moved-up to second place. TNT Tropang at the other side dropped to the third position with three games lost. They share it with 3 other teams.
