No shocking result in a game when sixth rankedFiberXers (4-2) beat 10th ranked Bossing (1-5) in Caloocan City 99-94 on Saturday. FiberXers had a 36-25 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The winners were led by Justine Baltazar who had that evening a double-double by scoring 11 points, 14 rebounds and 7 assists and Alec Stockton supported him with 28 points. Even 33 points (!!!) and 5 assists by American guard Sedrick Barefield (188-1996, college: Utah) did not help to save the game for Blackwater . Naturalized Italian guard Dalph Panopio (185-2000, college: CSUB, agency: Schafer Sports) added 11 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. FiberXers moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Hotshots and SM Beermen. Blackwater lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with five games lost. They share it with Terrafirma Dyip and Phoenix.
