An interesting game forWarriors (5-2) which hosted in Makati City second-ranked Painters (5-2). Third ranked Warriors managed to get a 14-point victory 105-91 . It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Painters. NLEX RW dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Painters 's 36. NLEX RW looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The winners were led by guard Robert Bolick (185-1995) who scored that evening 28 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and JB Bahio supported him with 17 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Even 26 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists by did not help to save the game for Rain or Shine . Mike Malonzo added 7 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists for the guests. Five NLEX RW and four Rain or Shine players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. NLEX RW moved-up to second place, which they share with Rain or Shine.
