But Beermen was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Quezon 109-103 on Sunday night. Phoenix looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Guard Ricci Rivero (185-1998) notched 16 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and supported him with 14 points and 8 rebounds.
