A very close game took place in Manila betweenWarriors and Beermen . Warriors got a very close victory on the road over Beermen . Warriors managed to escape with a 1-point win 85-84 on Wednesday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. stepped up and scored 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and chipped in 12 points and 12 rebounds. Four Warriors players scored in double figures. At the losing side June Mar Fajardo responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists and Celedonio Trollano scored 17 points and 5 assists. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game.
