The game between fourth rankedBeermen (5-2) and 12th ranked Terrafirma Dyip (1-7) in Manila on Sunday ended with biggest points difference. Beermen outscored guests from Makati City 128-89 . SM Beermen dominated down low during the game scoring 98 of its points in the paint compared to Terrafirma Dyip 's 36. They outrebounded Terrafirma Dyip 69-36 including a 52-28 advantage in defensive rebounds. SM Beermen looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. Forward John Rodney Brondial (196-1990) notched a double-double by scoring 16 points and 22 rebounds to lead the effort and center June Mar Fajardo (210-1989) supported him with 12 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Beermen players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 10 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists by forward Louie Sangalang (193) did not help to save the game for Terrafirma Dyip . Guard Mark Nonoy (175) added 24 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. SM Beermen moved-up to third place. Terrafirma Dyip lost seventh consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with seven games lost.
