Important game to mention about took place in Ulaanbaatar. Ninth rankedFalcons (3-7) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging second-best Apes (8-6) 90-89 on Saturday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the home team. Falcons made 26-of-34 charity shots (76.5 percent) during the game. Apes were plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. Brandis Raley-Ross stepped up and scored 27 points and 8 rebounds (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!) for the winners and Batmandakh Bat-Erdene chipped in 18 points. The best for the losing side was South Sudanese guard Peter Jok (198-1994, college: Iowa) with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 11 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) and Munkhbayar Enkhbat scored 14 points. Five Apes players scored in double figures. Newly promoted Falcons maintains ninth place with 3-7 record. Apes lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the second position with six games lost.
