There was a small surprise when sixth rankedMiners (4-4) beat 4th ranked Metal (4-6) in Erdenet 78-70 on Wednesday. Miners looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Bolor-Erdene Gantsolmon notched a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 assists to lead the effort and Enkhbayasgalan Amgalan supported him with 12 points and 8 rebounds. Even 15 points by American guard Davion Warren (198-1999, college: Texas Tech) did not help to save the game for Metal . Ch Margad added 9 points and 6 rebounds. Miners moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Darkhan and Selenge. Metal lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth position with six games lost.
