A very close game took place in Ulaanbaatar (derby !!!) betweenMetal and Brothers . Seventh ranked Metal (3-3) got a very close home victory over 8th ranked Brothers (3-4). Metal managed to escape with a 1-point win 91-90 on Thursday evening. Nigerian center Abdul-Malik Abu (203-1995, college: NC State) fired 30 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. chipped in 14 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. American guard McKenzie Moore (198-1992, college: UTEP) produced a double-double by scoring 28 points, 7 rebounds, 13 assists and 4 steals and Dashdorj Purevsuren added 16 points respectively for lost side. Five Metal and four Brothers players scored in double figures. Metal moved-up to third place, which they share with Selenge and Xac Broncos. Loser Brothers dropped to the sixth position with four games lost.
