Regular Season Round 23: UB TLG - Bison 88-97

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Ulaanbaatar where 9th rankedUB TLG (5-18) was defeated by tenth ranked Bizon (6-18) 97-88 on Saturday. Bison made 26-of-34 free shots (76.5 percent) during the game. They also forced 21 UB TLG turnovers. Strangely UB TLG outrebounded Bison 57-45 including a 20-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American center Kyree Walker (198-2000) who had a double-double by scoring 40 points (!!!), 16 rebounds and 5 assists. Bat-Erdene B chipped in 26 points and 6 rebounds. American forward Kenny Wooten Jr (204-1998, college: Oregon) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points, 26 rebounds and 5 blocks and Bilguun Gan-Erdene added 12 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Bison moved-up to ninth place. UB TLG lost their tenth game in a row. They dropped to the bottom position with 18 games lost.
