The most surprising game was another loss of top-rankedBroncos (18-5) in Erdenet on Thursday night. Visitors were edged by seventh ranked Miners (11-12) 92-91 . Miners made 29-of-33 free shots (87.9 percent) during the game. They also forced 27 Xac Broncos turnovers. 28 personal fouls committed by Xac Broncos helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Shamorie Ponds (185-1998, college: St.John's) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists and 8 steals (made all of his twelve free throws !!!). International guard Bolor-Erdene Gantsolmon (183-2003) contributed with 25 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American forward Jordan Tolbert (200-1992, college: SMU) replied with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 18 rebounds and 8 assists and Baatar-Erdene Barsbold added 15 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Xac Broncos. Four Xac Broncos players scored in double figures. Miners have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place. Xac Broncos lost third consecutive game. They still keep top position with five games lost.
