Tenth-rankedMiners (3-9) were very close to win a game against first ranked Broncos (13-1) in Ulaanbaatar on Tuesday. Broncos managed to secure only three-point victory 79-76 . However their fans expected much easier game. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Miners. Xac Broncos made 24-of-28 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Miners 39-22 including 27 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Jordan Tolbert (200-1992, college: SMU) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 27 points and 12 rebounds. International forward Altangerel Azbayar (202-2005) contributed with 15 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Broncos players scored in double figures. Nigerian-American power forward Maxie Esho (206-1991, college: UMass) replied with 18 points and 6 rebounds and international guard Bolor-Erdene Gantsolmon (183-2003) added 16 points and 5 assists in the effort for Miners. Xac Broncos maintains first position with 13-1 record. Miners at the other side stay at the bottom place with nine games lost.
