WLBL top team -Al Riyadi (6-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they beat sixth ranked Bkennaya (2-3) in Beirut 80-62 . Al Riyadi dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Bkennaya 's 26 and made 17-of-18 charity shots (94.4 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Bkennaya 45-18 including a 34-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. American-Angolan guard Italee Lucas (172-1989, college: UNC) stepped up and scored 22 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners and the former international center Chirine El Charif (184-1984) chipped in 23 points and 12 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). Ify Okoro responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and center Sandra Beddawi (168-1992, agency: BIG) scored 13 points. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Al Riyadi . Defending champion maintains first place with 6-0 record. Bkennaya at the other side keeps the sixth position with three games lost. They share it with NSA.
