There was a small surprise when eighth rankedNSA (2-3) crushed at home 6th ranked Bkennaya (2-3) 95-55 on Wednesday. NSA made 20-of-22 free shots (90.9 percent) during the game. They also forced 25 Bkennaya turnovers. NSA looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Bkennaya 's players. Ukrainian center Olesia Malashenko (191-1991) nailed a triple-double by scoring 24 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists (perfect behind the arc making all five shots) for the winning side and Siritta Faraj accounted for 23 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Four NSA players scored in double figures. Senegalese Aminata Ly (193-2000, college: Fordham) came up with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 17 rebounds and Ify Okoro added 13 points respectively for Bkennaya in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. NSA moved-up to sixth place, which they share with defeated Bkennaya.
