There was a minor upset when their close opponentMayrouba (6-13) was defeated at home by eleventh ranked Al Markaziyyah (7-11) 103-85 . Al Markaziyyah made 25-of-31 charity shots (80.6 percent) during the game, while Mayrouba only scored seven points from the stripe.
