Bottom-rankedHoops (0-15) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their 15th consecutive match to third ranked Azour (12-2) 85-54 . Azour forced 25 Hoops turnovers and outrebounded them 47-33 including 33 on the defensive glass. Azour players were unselfish on offense dishing 33 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Hoops ' players. Nigerian-American power forward Victoria Macaulay (193-1990, college: Temple) notched 24 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort and the former international point guard Amar Mansour (178-2004) supported her with 11 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals. Even 21 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals by American forward Lyndsey Whilby (180-1999, college: KSU) did not help to save the game for Hoops . Lynn Abdallah added 9 points and 6 rebounds for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Azour have a solid three-game winning streak. Newly promoted Azour maintains third position with 12-2 record behind leader Al Riyadi. Hoops at the other side still closes the standings with 15 games lost.
