Very expected game in Jounieh where 9th rankedAl Markaziyyah (4-8) was crushed by third ranked Sagesse (10-2) 93-66 on Wednesday. Sagesse outrebounded Al Markaziyyah 54-37 including a 37-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. Sagesse looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Al Markaziyyah 's players. Haitian center Cady Lalanne (208-1992, college: UMass) fired a double-double by scoring 28 points and 13 rebounds (on 12-of-14 shooting from the field) for the winners. American Shabazz Muhammad (198-1992, college: UCLA) chipped in a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds. American forward Tyree Corbett (201-2000, college: Denver) produced a double-double by scoring 30 points and 19 rebounds and the other American import guard Cameron Young (195-1996, college: Quinnipiac, agency: Slash Sports) added 17 points respectively for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Sagesse maintains third place with 10-2 record behind leader Beirut Club. Al Markaziyyah lost their third game in a row. Newly promoted team dropped to the eighth position with eight games lost. They share it with Maristes and Mayrouba.
