WLBL top team -Al Riyadi (11-1) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat eighth ranked Almtayleb (3-9) 67-52 . Al Riyadi forced 20 Almtayleb turnovers. Almtayleb was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. American swingman Quionche Carter (183, college: FGCU) had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international point guard Rebecca Akl (170-1992) chipped in 19 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American swingman Jemimah Ashby (175-1991, college: Augustana) responded with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 17 rebounds and her fellow American import forward Daja Woodard (190, college: Jackson St.) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points and 15 rebounds. Almtayleb's coach Nelly Nassar rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Al Riyadi have an impressive 11-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 11-1 record, which they share with Azour. Almtayleb lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with nine games lost.
