Important game to mention about took place in . Champs (3-1) saved a 2-point victory at home edging NSA (1-2) 63-61 on Friday evening. Champs players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. It was a good game for American Tina Stephens (188-1999, college: Troy) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 10 rebounds, 9 assists and 6 steals. The former international forward Nancy Maalouf (174-1988) contributed with 10 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Four Champs players scored in double figures. American forward Jessica Martino (178-2000, college: Delaware St.) answered with 27 points and 8 rebounds and Jana Ghossain added 11 points and 4 assists in the effort for NSA.
