Fourth-rankedBarsy Atyrau (12-16) made lots of trouble for second ranked Almaty L. (16-14). Almaty L. managed to secure only two-point victory 74-72 . However their fans expected easier game. American guard Elijah Hardy (188-1999, college: CSUSB) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Forward Nazim Adylbekov (200-2001) contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 15 rebounds for the winners. Hardy is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American forward Marty Jackson (198-2000, college: St.Leo) replied with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds and his fellow American import point guard Michael Mays (178-1999, college: King) added 21 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists in the effort for Barsy Atyrau. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Almaty L. have a solid four-game winning streak. Despite that victory Almaty L. went down to third position due to points difference. Barsy Atyrau lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with 16 games lost.
