Not a big story in a game when 11th rankedOral (7-17) was rolled over at home by second ranked Shymkent (21-3) 103-67 on Thursday. Shymkent outrebounded Oral 49-32 including a 35-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. Shymkent looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. The best player for the winners was guard Victor Yuldashev (190-2002) who scored 22 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Guard Alexander Papshiv (191-1991) chipped in 16 points and 9 rebounds. Four Shymkent players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Meyrambek Shamuratov (180-2001) who recorded 19 points and point guard Yerassyl Nursapa (183-2007) added 11 points and 5 assists respectively. Oral's coach Dossym Kuanayev already knew that his team would not have a big chance, so allowed to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Shymkent have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 21-3 record having just three points less than leader Turan. Oral lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh place with 17 games lost.
