No shocking result in a game when leader Turan (3-0) smashed on the road bottom-ranked Almaty-2 (0-3) 99-61 on Friday. Turan forced 31 Almaty-2 turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Almaty-2's players. stepped up and scored 29 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) for the winners and chipped in 15 points and 8 rebounds. Eldar Umerov responded with 16 points and Bogdan Boyko scored 11 points and 5 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. The victory was the third consecutive win for Turan. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Shymkent. Almaty-2 lost their third game in a row. They still close the standings with three games lost. They share the position with Champ1on. Turan will meet Shymkent (#4) on the road in the next round.
